sometime for yourself where you can pick up ideas on
ways to cope find out where to access information or

condition. As you can see from the photo we have a
laugh and a joke and don't have two heads. we are
all parents/carers of additional needs children just

group and hopefully help you along the way. we have
a library of books and leaflets on lots of
conditions that you can borrow and when needed a

NEWS
As well as the Parents Group we are trying to
organise some Sibling events throughout the year.
This would give the children in the family, that do
not have special needs, a chance to get a day out
without their brother/sister.
It is very hard for a special needs sibling to get
the attention that they feel they need, as special
needs children take up a lot of the parents time. We
hope to give the siblings the chance to have a day
to themselves and to be able to talk to other
children in the same situation as themselves as well
as give them some time out from the stress that they
may feel at home.
We are updating the directory of services with the
help of West Lothian Council and Carers of West
Lothian and hope to have it printed by October of
this year and also have it in other formats shortly
afterwards. The Directory lists services and groups
for children with additional needs and is still
available at the moment in the old format. Please
contact us for a copy.
